Rey Montano (July 27, 2007) is a Chicano-American musician from Fresno, CA. Montano is most notably the primary member of shoegaze/alternative outfit Central Pacific State Beach (previously Infinite Vacation.) Montano has also worked under different aliases including ROSE (stylized in all caps) and Miles Ontario (stylized in all lowercase.) Montano has also explored other artistic mediums such as graphic design, video and film, and fashion. Montano’s songwriting and production has been described as hazy, ethereal, emotional, and incredibly lo-fi. Their DIY ethic is present in their albums, cover art, music videos, and even distribution, of which many records have been self-released under BXMMER CXLTURE. A jack of many trades, Montano finds themself trying to express ideas and personal identity through an expnasive web of music, art, and video.BXMMER CXLTURE is an umbrella for Rey Montano and all endeavors thereof and surrounding.
